Chemin de Vezelay
As I walked from Vezelay, about 180 kilometres south east of Paris, to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in the Pyrenees, I tapped in my posts each day on an iPhone, and sent them off by the mobile network if there was no wifi. I have reorganized these notes in chronological order, added photos and an overview.
This was the loneliest of all my walks. I walked with one companion for a week, and would meet up with another couple from time to time in the evenings, but for much of the walk I was on my own. Frequently, I was the only person in the gite in the evenings. You can begin the journey at Vezelay to La Charite-sur-Loire
You may want have a look at my PowerPoint Presentation, Tips for walking in France and other places, that you won't find in the guidebook
